Cambridge Instruments Galen III, model BA120, serial number, 1283BS. I just replaced the bulb, ($40+ on Amazon) and the microscope appears to be working as intended. (I do not have any slides to fully test). It has four different magnifications, 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x magnification. The strength of the lighting can be adjusted as well as the individual eye spans to look through. It comes with a hard case, dust cover and its original manual. As the bulb has just been replaced, (with cotton gloves) I will be slipping its original packaging over it as well as gently padding around that to ship, (unless buyer prefers otherwise), and will be including the box bulb came in for future reference/purchase. This item will be well padded inside the case as well as in the box it will be shipped in. The case has a plastic foam insert on one side, is in very good condition. The other side is a different foam and is breaking down. The dust cover has been wiped down, but still feels oily.
