From the Manufacturer The Bridgeport Fittings 801-DC2 3/8-Inch Zinc Die Cast Flexible Metal Conduit 90-Degree Connector has a single cable opening. It is made from die cast, ball burnished, mirror smooth zinc. It has a knockout size of 1/2-Inch and a cord size of .5- to .625 inch. Also it has a 90-degree bend and is non-insulated. Bridgeport Fittings, Inc. was founded by Adelbert R. Auray and Neil G. Hayes in 1925 as The Bridgeport Switch Company. Initially, the product line consisted of electrical switches, bells, buzzers, wall switches and receptacles. The company shifted manufacturing direction in 1936, when it was decided to emphasize conduit and cable fittings for the electrical industry. Malleable iron, steel, aluminum and brass fittings replaced the original residential electrical components. Later, in 1948, the company changed its name to Bridgeport Fittings, Inc.
