The first president of the United States, George Washington, took his oath of office on April 30th, 1789. After serving as commander-in-chief of the Continental Army in the Revolutionary War and playing a vital role in the creation of the U.S. Constitution, his patience and leadership skills proved him to be a worthy president of the United States, and he won the nation’s first election unanimously.

To date, countless locations, schools, and natural wonders have been named after George Washington – and now, a Breyer model horse! Washington sports an electric blue blanket appaloosa coat with black points, putting a fun decorator twist on a realistic white pattern.
