Cool Glow Lime Nandina is an evergreen shrub with lacy dark green foliage that is incredibly attractive throughout the year. It will mature to a beautiful bright yellow to lime green in the fall and winter which sets this beauty a part from the other nandinas, thus earning its cool glow lime name. It may also be commonly known as Heavenly Bamboo. It has compact habit and sparse seed set. Moderately fast growing, it forms a dense upright mound that is ideal for foundation and mass plantings. Thrives in USDA hardiness zones 6-9 and prefers full sun to partial shade. They will not show off their beautiful glowing colors sitting in a shady corner. They should get at leat 6-8 hours of sunlight to produce that lemony-lime glow. It grows well in a wide range of soil types, including dry conditions.
