TeaLAB Bioochar is made from several sources of organic material, including almond hulls, chicken litter, and woody greenwaste. TeaLAB BioChar is made using true pyrolysis, as opposed to the process known as gassification. Much of the gassified biocahr is simply waste product from the power plants. The gassification process also degrades the quality of the crystalline-carbon structures called graphene that are the functional portion of biochar. Because you only want to apply biochar once every 100+ years, you should probably use the good stuff! Apply 1-5% soil volume, or 1 cubic foot/100 square feet.
