Acer palmatum 'Beni Tsukasa'. The spring foliage offers ever changing colors. New leaves are a bright peach tone then evolves to a light pink with green undertones. Green then becomes the predominant color in summer, with some leaves showing a faint variegation. Leaves on older wood are small, whereas vigorous new shoots often produce leaves twice as large. 'Beni Tsukasa' should reach 15 feet tall. Ideal as a specimen or Bonsai. Requires full sun to partial shade with well drained soil.
