Chessex strongly encourages you to buy from your local retail store whenever possible. Without distributors and retailers our industry would be quite different. Our success is due to the support and success of our hobby partners. So while you can order from us, we prefer that you buy anything you can locally or from your online retailers. We have many items that retailers and distributors do not find practical to stock, and those are the items that we encourage you to order from us. Don (our owner) and Kim (our general manager) both come from a retail and distributor background. Both of them believe strongly in the 3-tier distribution model, and are keenly aware that Chessex should not have an advantage over our distribution and retail customers. We do not offer discounts to consumers, except for occasional sale items. Chessex wants our trading partners to thrive.
