A real authentic untreated Gobi Eye Agate from the Gobi Desert of Inner Mongolia. Many of these are dyed. This one is not. It has beautiful textured eyes of many colors. This was hand collected by a Mongolian sheep herder. Only indigenous people are allowed to mine these. The unique and extreme environment of the Gobi Desert has created the conditions necessary for these fascinating agates to form. No place else in the world are they found. They are regarded as powerful talismans of protection and good fortune. Said to ward off evil spirits and enhhance the wearers intuitive faculties. A popular belief about these is if you find yourself in possession of one it was meant to be. You are supposed to have connected with one and is always of some significance. A great metaphysical crystal for sure.
