Title: " Alone and Forsaken ". Print measures approximately 28 inches wide by 22 inches high. Heinrich Vosberg was born in Leer in 1833 and died at Gmuden on the 20th of January in the year 1891
Vosberg studied at the Academy of Dusseldorf and at the school of Art in Carlsruhe. He also worked in the shop of Schirmer. The original work of this print was completed by Vosberg in 1887. This copy "Alone", was printed as a part of the Chicago Tribune Art Supplement dated September 30, 1894. Featured as a "Famous painting of Europe, the actual print size is 8.25 by 16 inches.It is mounted on paper and produced by the Knapp Co., Lithograph - N. Y. This print is also known as "Einsam and Verlassen" which translates "Alone and Forsaken ".
(I took closeups of this print). There are some stains that might could be removed. I think this is a unique print.
