Southwire's 5KV ARMOR-X MC HL armored cables are suitable for wet and dry areas, as well as conduits, ducts, troughs, trays, direct burial, and where superior electrical properties are needed. They can operate continuously at temperatures up to 105°C for normal use, 140°C for emergencies, 250°C for short circuits, and -50°C for cold bends. These cables are approved for Class I, II, and III, Division 1 and 2 hazardous locations per NEC Articles 501, 502, and 503. They are suitable for VFD applications and rated for 1000 lbs./FT maximum sidewall pressure.
