This wool knit uses luxurious Merino Wool from Lanificio di Tollegno, a long-established Italian textile manufacturer.
Made with 100% of approximately 19.5 micron superfine Merino wool, it achieves a beautiful luster and smooth feel.
Merino wool refers to the wool of "Merino sheep," which are widely raised in Australia and New Zealand. Because the fibers are finer than ordinary wool, it is used for innerwear and socks that come into direct contact with the skin, and is highly valued by many outdoor brands.
In addition to the fineness of the fibers, Merino wool is also characterized by its high moisture absorption. Merino wool innerwear that touches the skin can prevent stuffiness inside the clothing and reduce discomfort. Furthermore, it has high heat retention, protecting you from the cold outside air.
