This 12-volt DC fan is compatible with solar panels ranging from 40 watts to 100 watts. While it works best with a 100W (approximately 12V) panel, it also functions reliably with smaller panels. When wiring, connect the negative wire to black and the positive wire to blue. In this configuration, the airflow is directed toward the wires and protective screen, as shown in the listing photos. The fan’s compact size (12" x 12" x 3") allows easy installation in a gable vent or similar opening. It comes with four integrated mounting tabs for quick setup.
