Amish-Made Decorative Waterwheel - 48" Diameter, Cedar Stain

Hand-crafted by a Pennsylvania Amish craftsman, these authentic wooden waterwheels come complete with wheel made from naturally-treated yellow pine, sealed zinc-plated wheel bearings, and a cold-rolled steel axle. The wheel dimensions are 47.5" in diameter and 6.5" wide, while the axle is 1" in diameter and 24" in length. Yesteryear will come alive in your pond, stream, canal, or decorative fountain when you find a creative way to include one of these beautiful turning waterwheels. The waterwheels rotate freely around the stationary axle, and as such are configured for decoration only, not for driving equipment. Wheel bearings are sealed and we do not recommend greasing, especially in applications where wheels will be in contact with fish or other wildlife. Because of the inherent characteristics of wood as a material, these waterwheels may include knots and other natural blemishes. While these products are skillfully crafted, all wood products will include natural variations such that no two waterwheels will be identical. Finished with an all-natural eco-friendly soy-based stain.
