The V1.4 cable supports the latest DisplayPort technology with a maximum resolution of up to 8K at 60Hz. Ultra 8K Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable meets and exceeds VESA DisplayPort 1.4 specifications. The cable supports a maximum resolution of 8K at 60Hz. It also supports all other DisplayPort V1.4 functions such as HBR3 (High Bit Rate 3) bandwidth of 32.4 Gbps, Dynamic HDR (High Dynamic Range), DSC (Display Stream Compression 1.2), forward error correction and protection of high-bandwidth digital content (HDCP 2.2), 32 uncompressed digital audio channels and multi-stream - Transport (MST). The ALOGIC Ultra Series is made from high quality materials and has been specially designed to ensure a longer life. The cable core is reinforced with synthetic fibres and reinforced with a thermoplastic sheath (TPE) to provide increased protection against all types of wear. The cable head is also made of thermoplastic (TPE) for maximum strain relief and is finished with an alloy casing for added durability. The cable features a locking design with an innovative easy release button that ensures a firm, stable connection that cannot be released when locked up. The easy release button is designed for one-handed operation and facilitates connection to monitors and displays in tight spaces.
