Almquist's Old Time Pottery Red Stoneware Brown Speckled Butter Bell or French Butter Dish. Made in Winthrop WA 2009
This WA state based studio pottery closed in 2013 and pieces are increasingly rare, especially in this condition. Made from red clay and glazed by hand, mixing mineral oxides, brown glass frit, Mt. Saint Helens ash and powdery white Nespelem silt to achieve their trademark brown-speckled finish.
Condition: Excellent with no known flaws. Appears to be new and unused.
