The Aftco GAFFA356GLD Taper-Tip Aluminum Fishing Gaff Hook is lightning fast in the water, easy to maneuver and deadly accurate. This gaff is stronger and lighter, so it will bring fish into the boat with less flailing and confusion. The shaft is made from corrosion-resistant marine aluminum - the same material used in Aftco's famous Unibutts - and it is swaged for uniform strength from end to end, but with no unnecessary weight. Taper-Tip Gaffs are available in traditional rich Gold and lustrous Black finishes - both anodized for lasting beauty and resistance to corrosion. All models are fitted with soft but rugged black grips molded from the same non-slip material found on the finest fishing rods. Black vinyl butt caps seal out corrosive moisture and prevent deck scarring. Aftco's gaff hooks are fashioned from stainless steel rods, with easy-to-sharpen triangular points.
