847990-001 - Single-Float Non-Discriminating Stand-Alone Dispenser Pan Sensor with Dispenser Control Interface, UL

The Veeder-Root 847990-001 is a non-discriminating stand-alone dispenser pan sensor designed to detect liquid presence in dispenser containment areas. When fluid—fuel or water—reaches 1½" at the base of the sensor, it automatically shuts down AC power to the dispenser without requiring an automatic tank gauge (ATG), relays, or additional wiring. The included Dispenser Control Interface ensures intrinsically safe operation in Class I Div. 1 Group D / Class I Zone 0 IIA hazardous areas. Featuring latching alarm circuitry, the sensor prevents dispenser restart until the hazardous condition is resolved. It installs easily in most dispenser pans and is compatible with fuels including gasoline, diesel, kerosene, jet fuel, aviation gas, E15, biodiesel B20, green diesel, waste oil, and motor oil.
