• Premium Activated Alumina: Made from high-quality raw materials with uniform 2–4 mm granules. This activated alumina desiccant features excellent porosity and large surface area for strong moisture absorption. Water absorption can reach over 30% of its weight at 25°C/77°F and 90% humidity. Our reusable desiccant absorbs moisture quickly and maintains a low-humidity environment inside filament dry boxes, filament storage bags, and sealed containers.
• Product Use: Specifically designed for 3D printing filaments, it delivers strong moisture absorption to effectively remove dampness and keep filaments dry, ensuring they are always ready for printing. Compatible with all common 3D printing materials, making it a must-have 3d printer accessory.
• Instructions for Use:Place the activated alumina beads directly into the sealed dry box, storage bag or spool container for 3D printing filaments, keeping them in an enclosed space with PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU and other materials. The beads can effectively absorb moisture in the storage environment, prevent filaments from becoming brittle or clogging the nozzle, and keep the filament dry for stable and smooth printing at any time.
• Reusability: The alumina desiccant beads can be regenerated by passing low-pressure/hot dry gas through them, or by heating/reducing pressure in a moist gas environment. Alternatively, they may be baked in an oven at 200–250°C for about 8 hours for regeneration (do not exceed 250°C).
