Vintage set of 1847 Rogers Bros. triple plated flatware in the “Old Colony 1911” pattern, circa 1940s/50s. This elegant pattern was first introduced in 1911 and discontinued in 1973. It became one of the most popular silver plate patterns and is in great demand today.
Stamped XS TRIPLE, which means that each piece is *triple-plated* with 3x the silver content as ordinary silverplate.

In nice vintage condition, with evidence of use and wear, including scratches, discoloration, and mild tarnish, all consistent with age. A couple of the knife handles are dented. A tine on one salad fork is slightly bent (last photo).
