Our transparent, wax-based end sealer effectively reduces wood checking. Apply it using a brush, roller, or spray equipment; we prefer a paint roller. Apply Bailey's Seal generously, allowing it to nearly drip, on green logs and lumber. For large cants or logs (20" or bigger), apply twice, with a 20-minute interval. Avoid freezing. Apply Bailey's Seal promptly after cutting or end trimming to significantly reduce checking and potentially save 5% to 20% of your wood's value.
