Product Description 3M Scotchrap Vinyl Corrosion Protection Tape 50 is tough, polyvinyl chloride-based tape that is easy to use and doesn't require special tools to apply. The tape is made with special high-tack adhesives formulated to resist corrosion of metal piping systems above and below ground, fittings and joints on mill-coated pipe, and electrical conduit systems. The pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive provides excellent tacking for a bond that lasts. This durable, black PVC tape is a conformable, 10 mil (0.254 mm) thick tape with electrical insulating properties. The tape performs well in many industrial uses, including commercial construction, industrial construction, irrigation, maintenance and repair operations, mining, residential construction, solar, utility, and wind power.
