- This Plenum rated cable has been designed specifically for use intercom, sound, alarm and security circuits, and It is approved for installation per NEC (National Electric Code) Articles FPLP/760, CMP 800, CL3P, and CL2P725. Though approved for air plenum, it can be used anywhere a stationary control circuit is needed, up to 300 Volts. It is not rated for outdoor use or direct burial.<br><br>
- This cable consists of three 16 AWG 7/Strand 100% bare copper conductors color coded Black, Red, White. It is rated for 300 volts 75C. It is shielded with a 100% aluminum mylar shield and the drain wire is 24 AWG stranded tinned copper<br><br>
- The cable is covered with a Low Smoke White PVC jacket. Footage markings have been added to the jacket so you can always determine the amount remaining on the spool. The cable ships on a 12” diameter plywood spool.<br><br>
- This cable has a diameter of .198” and weighs 39# per 1000 Feet. The 16 AWG 7/Stand bare copper conductors are made with 100% pure copper. They are insulated with color coded low smoke PVC.<br><br>
