CRL Diamond Router Bits are designed for routing and shaping glass in a variety of sizes and profiles. This medium-grit diamond router bit is suitable for general glass routing applications. It features a 1/4 inch (6.4 mm) shank that is compatible with CRL router systems and other routers using matching fractional collets. For proper operation, diamond tool coolant should be applied at the contact point between the rotating bit and the glass. Diamond glass routing is a high-speed process and should only be performed with equipment designed for this application. Appropriate personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, should be worn during use. When operating wet routing tools, a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) is required.
