Inspired by and tested during ascent to Northern California’s Lassen Peak, the Lassen Backpack is a MOLLE-compatible & CCW-enabled tactical backpack with 1800 cu. in. / 29L volume. As a slight departure from previous Maxpedition packs, the Lassen Backpack uses YKK molded tooth zippers, made with individually injected, self-lubricating elements for long-term low-maintenance use. Each pack comes with a sheet frame equipped with an user-shapeable aluminum stay for added support. The frame and stay may be separated and/or removed for significant weight reduction. Expandable bottle holders on both sides can hold hydration or other long/narrow objects such as tripods. Thoughtful design throughout for comfortable carry and ease of access. Adjustable and removeable waist belt for stability for most body sizes. Last but not least, a large exterior loop field for attaching name tape or your favorite morale patches.
