Special Metals MONEL® 67 ERCuNi .045" Dia Filler Metal comes on a 30 lb spool and is suitable for surfacing of steel if a barrier layer is first applied. Filler metal can be used for oxyacetylene, gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc as well as submerged arc welding of MONEL® Alloy 450 and other copper nickel alloys. This copper-nickel weld metal having tensile strength of 50000 psi exhibits superior resistance to corrosion in seawater. It is widely used for marine and desalination applications. Filler metal supports dissimilar welding applications such as joining MONEL® Alloys or Nickel 200 to copper-nickel alloys.
